2018 AGS Technical Conference

Conference Details

The Alaska Geological Society will be hosting a one-day technical conference on topics related to the geology of Alaska. The Spring Technical Conference is held every year and alternates between Fairbanks and Anchorage. The 2018 conference will be held at the University of Alaska, Anchorage on Friday April 20th. Talks will include topics such as basin stratigraphy and interpretation, North Slope hydrocarbon reservoirs, tectonics, mineral resources, geo-hazards and regional geological mapping.
